The exception to the rules
Fashion rules are obsolete nowadays. People pretty much wear what they want as long as they look good. I mean honestly, some of these rules don’t make any sense at all like not wearing white after Labor Day. One of the popular fashion infraction occurs in the fitness world. It wasn’t that long ago when joggers were all over the fashion scene. Now that joggers have faded away running sneakers are taking its place.
The adidas EQT Support 93/17 has played a major role in this transition. The original adidas Equipment launched in March 1991. Peter Moore was the Creative Director of the EQT line and he designed this shoe for performance and functionality .
“We named it Equipment because the word Equipment in English is no BS word. You don’t have a piece of equipment to have fun with, you have a piece of equipment to do stuff with.” -Peter Moore
The adidas EQT Support 93/17 took inspiration from its ‘90s predecessor with today’s cultural spin on it. They kept the runner-influenced design and added the pixelated knit upper, 3-stripes webbing tape and the boost™ sole technology. The adidas EQT’s ability to remain relevant more than a decade later is the sign of a truly good piece of equipment.
