Nike’s Air Trainer Huarache Returns

The Nike Air Huarache Trainer is back out of the volt after its original 1992 release.

From 1992 to today sneakerheads are welcoming back 90’s silhouettes and trends of what is now considered vintage. Nike knows how to make a retro comeback, bringing retro colorways like the Air Huarache trainer in a White/Amarillo/Team Crimson/Regency iteration.

From the legendary Huarache fit with the cushioned inner sleeve the midfoot strap is the true standout. Originally designed by Tinker Hatfield and Eric Avar this Huarache features a higher ankle locking fit within a Neoprene bootie with the added midfoot mesh strap. This colorway starts with a clean white upper with red, blue, and yellow hits to accent the sneaker. Nike branding lands on the midfoot strap with Huarache branding on the tongue and Nike Air branding on the heel.

A Huarache silhouette with the shape and style of a bulky trainer this retro needs a space in any sneakerhead rotation.
