The Air Jordan 8 "Playoffs" will be hitting store shelves once again Saturday, June 29th. This latest drop will be the third retail release since they originally debuted in 1993 and the first re-release since 2007. For those of you unaware, Michael Jordan cemented these sneakers into the history books during the 1993 NBA Playoffs that ultimately ended in his third consecutive NBA championship over Charles Barkley and the Phoenix Suns. If the response of the recently rereleased of the "Bugs" Jordan 8 colorway is any indication, the "Playoffs" mockup will be welcomed again with open arms (and empty wallets) by sneakerheads across the globe. These will be available at select Jordan Brand retailers including Shoe City for $160.
