To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Jordan Retro 12 “Playoffs,” the brand is planning a re-release. The shoe, made famous by Michael Jordan wearing them while winning his 5th NBA title, is a champion in the Jordan lineup and necessary for any sneakerhead and fan of the sport.
The Jordan 12 Playoff debuted on the court in 1997 and encapsulated everything going on during the time. The Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan were a force to be reckoned with in the 90s; unmovable and formidable on the courts. NBA had many defining moments during the decade, thanks to this team-up.
The 2022 re-release stays true to the original design, which featured a white textured mudguard and red Jumpman overtop of the tumbled black leather upper. The heel is stitched with the “23” logo, and the white carbon fiber sole completes the clean and powerful design.
The Air Jordan Retro 12 “Playoffs” drop on March 11 in full-family sizing.
