The Nike Air Foamposite One has become one of the most recognizable and highly desirable silhouettes in lifestyle footwear. Since its initial debut in 1997, we have seen a multitude of colorways and most recently, graphic printed elements throughout the revolutionary one-piece upper of the retro basketball shoe. Moving back towards the solid color-blocking that the sneaker touted for many years, Nike is scheduled to launch the latest Air Foamposite One in a clean black and white color scheme this Saturday, June 28th. The back-to-basics look of this latest Nike Air Foamposite One has many sneakerheads comparing it to another quite famous retro silhouette featuring black and white color-blocking, the "Concord" Air Jordan 11. The resemblance and comparisons between are quite evident, but the main difference between the two is the Foamposites' Game Royal accents that pay tribute to Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway's time with the Orlando Magic.
Look for the men's Nike Air Foamposite One Black/White to drop this Saturday at select Shoe City locations for $230.
