With a deep history of respect and love for his hometown, Don C proves he is cemented in the streets of Chicago no matter where he lands. He’s come a long way from his Chicago roots. Early on you could always find him with Kayne West. Whether he was behind the turntables as Kayne’s DJ, working as his tour manager, then as an executive to G.O.O.D music label, Don was always in the spotlight.

After his arrest in 2008 stemming from a scuffle with the paparazzi at LAX he threw all of his attention into streetwear fashion. His private label ‘Just Don’ came onto the scene in 2011 taking throwback sports apparel and re-inventing it with premium materials. Success soon followed. It didn’t hurt that A-list celebrities were seen in his creations.

Even with all of his fashion fame Don C never strayed too far from his Chicago roots and memories of his first fashion love, the Air Jordan. Don is captivated by Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls; that respect of his hometown history shows in his Air Jordan mash-ups and inventions.
Don C, designer of the streetwear brand Just Don first teamed up with Jordan in 2015 to re-invent the Jordan 2 and shake things up with his luxury cut-and-sew ideals.

His ability to take his best memories of watching Michael Jordan play with the Chicago Bulls and create new designs from favorite retros is unmatched in the fast paced game of collaborations.
The latest in his Air Jordan re-designs is steeped in nostalgia from early Jordan silhouettes. The Jordan Legacy 312, a nod to the Chicago area code takes the Air Jordan1, Air Jordan 3, Alpha Force low and mashes then together creating a hybrid straight from the heart of a true Jordan fan. The lesser known Alpha Force Low was worn by Jordan in 1998 between the introduction of the Air Jordan 2 and 3.

The sole is taken straight from the Air Jordan 3 as Don C. refers to it as the “foundation of the brand” and mixed in is the iconic elephant print that originated straight from MJ’s request to Tinker Hatfield, the name behind many of the most popular Jordan’s.
Jordan has proven that they are committed to the premium materials Doc C works with, making this a high profile collab that has not had time to fully stretch its wings.
