Giving Back To Baltimore Youth With Dreezy

Giving Back To Baltimore Youth With Dreezy

PUMA makes a stand for the youth of Baltimore. On November 7th at the Shoe City at Reisterstown Road Plaza PUMA hosted a music writing workshop with brand ambassador Dreezy and a group of Baltimore youth from Renaissance Academy, a Baltimore City public school and the @thestokeyproject  TSP Youth Rap Battle Tour to show their talent in singing, rapping, or poetry.

Dreezy became a PUMA ambassador earlier this year joining a roster that includes Puma’s roster of ambassadors include Meek Mill, Adriana Lima, Cara Delevingne, The Weeknd and Big Sean among others. PUMA selected Dreezy, a Chicago rapper and songwriter as the energetic new face of its campaign due to her street style and ability to  integrate music with fashion and sports, a hybrid culture PUMA has become known for.

The students performed original creative writing, rapping, singing, and poetry while Dreezy was on hand to provide feedback to the group of talented students and reveal how she broke into the industry.

The students were also on hand to receive $250 in PUMA apparel and PUMA presented a $5K check that went directly to the Renaissance Academy and the students. PUMA's four key areas for giving back include education, and they are truly making a difference in the local neighborhoods and schools by giving back to Baltimore's youth.

Dreezy took to her IG and said "Me and @puma flew to Baltimore & put together a Writers Camp last week @ Shoe City & it turned out dope af! ? S/o to the Renaissance Academy Music Program for showin these young bosses another way out. Everybody was talented and stepped up. We gave back 5k that’s a blessing. Thanks @puma for having me apart always!! ? Salute to @ycmc " Make sure to follow Dreezy at @dreezy and PUMA at @puma on IG.
