My City My Style: Project Las Vegas

My City My Style, documents fashion in major urban centers, showcasing the latest in trends, personal style and street culture.
This feature takes us to the floors of Project @projectshow in Sin City, where all the players in the fashion industry converged for several days, checking out the latest collections the brands had to offer.
Project MVMNT represented a room full of the industries best street styles. From leading trends to high-end presentations, the top trendsetters showcased their remarkable looks all week long.
MCM’s Stark Studded Backpack is definitely an elite accessory that pushes the boundaries of texture, design, color-way and solid display. MCM @MCMtweets backpacks have been trending and continue to be, unquestionably, pieces that stand alone in any room.

Pyrex @virgilabloh brand based out of Chicago, IL was created by Virgil Abloh and is one of the elite young brands impacting the industry. Designed with his creative direction and seen on many influencers such as: Kanye West @kanyewest, Jay-Z @S_C_, Pusha-T @PUSHA_T, Kim K @KimKardashian & Kevin Durant@KDTrey5, to name a few. Pyrex "Vision" tee looks to become a staple classic as it sweeps the show. They have also launched a limited Champion Gym Short.

And now the fashion showdown begins.
Spotting a fresh pair of “Nike Jordan 1’s” @Jumpman23 throughout the show, in all of its most classic color-ways: Black/Red, Black/Blue, White/Red/Black. A guaranteed bloggers choice and definitely a sneaker that is respected across the culture. Nike’s @Nike latest Foamposite release was also in the building, an exclusive white camo color-way, for sure a rare sneaker & collector’s choice.

Japanese brand Visvim was also a heavily favored look throughout the 3days of fashion. The Visvim FBT Bearfoot Pizi-Fold in red color-way put on a superb body of work.
“40oz Van” @40oz_VAN brand owner was also in attendance for this year’s ProjectMVMNT, displaying his branded hat, the “Margiela Inspired” snapback, on ton’s of people at the show. Definitely a brand to keep an eye on for the remainder of 2013.
All in all Project did not disappoint, we saw a lot of great fashion and a unique interpretation of styles. Off to our next destination. Stay Tuned!
