Twenty years ago, designer Nigo opened his very first store "Nowhere" in Harajuku, Tokyo. Along the way he started Bape, since then, BAPE has risen to legendary status in the streetwear game. This April the brand and store will celebrate their 20th anniversary. Known for its high profile collaborations this special occasion will fall nothing short of it’s impeccable reputation.
With that being said Bape has enlisted the services of 20 of the cultures most noteworthy influencers, artist and creative minds, including Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Future, POGGY, and others to designing an exclusive APE Head canvas and t-shirt for the celebration. The works will roll out over the course of three days starting on April 27 at the T-SITE Garden Gallery TSUTAYA in Daikanyama, Japan..Stay Tuned!
