REVOK and POSE six-days painting session, the large wall on Bowery and Houston has been rendered into a chromatic masterpiece. Pulling in inspirations from typography, pop-art, cartoon illustrations and an overall unyielding streets aesthetic, the mural made dedication to some of graffiti’s most illustrious who have passed away — DONDI, IZ, NEKST, TIE, CASE2, AYER, Rammellzee and Vaughn Bode. The explosive piece also saw contributions from those waving the MSK flag – RIME, VIZIE, OMENS and TRAV — adding their own dynamic styles to the public display.
