The legacy continues with Jordan’s latest drop, the Retro 1 High OG “Electro Orange”
The iconic theming draws inspiration from the legendary moment where Michael Jordan broke the backboard glass during a slam dunk at the Nike European Tour in 1985 while wearing a uniform with orange, black, and white colors.
Initially stepping onto the scene in 2015, this colorway is back in a brand new way to both re-energize your collection and keep the legend alive with version 3.0. The look of this shoe starts off clean with white paneling across most of the upper and the blacked-out wings, stamp, nylon tongue, and matching swoosh. The titular “Electro Orange” pops through in the outsole, collar, tongue, and insole for a dynamic color-blocking scheme on one of the game's most revered silhouettes.
Since the beginning, the Air Jordan 1 has been subverting expectations and aiming to stray away from the more plain offerings. The Peter Moore design, game-changing since 1984, is still doing exactly that.
The Air Jordan Retro 1 High OG “Electro Orange” drops July 17 at 10 am.
