"The Minimalist" The minimalist features a simplistic style and consistent color palette. Here we put together New Era's Cincinnati Reds 59th Anniversary 59Fifty in a solid red color-way to tie the outfit back together. The Undefeated "Tiger" cardigan is a simple but strong fashionable piece in a cool grey color-way, featuring both red and white hits along the sleeve. A simple black denim flatters the full look, and Reebok's Classic sneaker silhouette ties in the three color-way look, giving you a chic simplistic style.

Sprayground x Iman Shumpert collaboration

Sprayground x Iman Shumpert collaboration

Apparel brand Sprayground celebrated their first collaboration with an athlete by welcoming in the public for a meet and greet with New York Knicks star Iman Shumpert. The event was held within walking distance of the Knicks home court at a Foot Action in Manhattan. The event turned into a family affair when Knicks fanatic Spike Lee showed up in support of the team and the city. New York native DJ Clark Kent also showed up and together the three made the peoples day taking pictures and signing autographs. The collaborative backpack takes on many elements of Iman Shumpert's "fly" personality. Equipped with wings and a black on black silhouette highlighted by gold statements, it seems the leaders in the backpack lane have done it again. Only 21 of the '21 Shump Street' backpacks have been made making it Sprayground's most exclusive release yet. Below are some pictures of the event and a fun video showing how fly the backpack really is, enjoy. [youtube id="BMv9h1_9Xz8" width="620" height="360"]

Iman Shumpert | New Beginnings

Iman Shumpert | New Beginnings

New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert shows us another side to his energetic character with this intimate video where he cuts off his signature high-top. The 6'5" Chicago native opens up and speaks on the pressures of real life and is honest about being overcome by all the outside distractions.  "For the first time since I can remember playing basketball I let so much stuff in the outside world, things that are going on in my life effect me so much that I wasn't playing the game to win, I was playing to beat my problems" Iman Shumpert is punishing himself by cutting his hair which became a symbol for him.  He feels the celebrity of being a NBA player caused him to separate himself as an individual. Cutting his hair is almost an act of repentance, acting as a reminder to himself that his only goal is to win a NBA championship ring. He speaks on this idea of "new beginnings" as he prepares to embark on a new journey to reinvent himself.  This video shows Iman Shumpert in a different light almost foreshadowing the hunger he is going to attack this season with.
